By accessing, browsing, or using this website, you agree to all terms, conditions, and disclaimers.
Coco & Bean may amend these terms and conditions from time to time. Any amendment is effective immediately.
PRICING AND TRANSACTIONS
All prices quoted, unless otherwise stated, are inclusive of GST.
All prices, unless otherwise stated, are quoted in Australian dollars (AUD).
In the event a customer is entitled to a refund, the refund will be made to the original credit card. For Paypal transactions, the refund will be made to the PayPal account.
Coco & Bean accepts payment by direct debit and PayPal for online payments.
When providing your credit or debit card details you are agreeing that you are authorised to use that card and it must have sufficient available funds to cover your charges.
SHIPPING
Coco & Bean offers $12.95 Express Shipping within Australia Post or with a third-party courier of their choice.
Coco & Bean accepts no responsibility for delays associated with Australia Post or the third-party courier actions.
In the event when the goods are dispatched and the recipient is not available to accept delivery and there is no safe drop-off point, the goods will be returned to the closest collection point and a calling card will be left notifying the recipient to pick up the goods.
This still applies when ‘Authority To Leave Items’ option has been selected.
Coco & Bean uses reputable third-party contract couriers, including Australia Post. Whilst every care is taken to ensure accurate and safe delivery, we cannot guarantee unforeseen circumstances, such as damage or delay that result in a parcel not arriving at a certain time or place.
Coco & Bean will work with the customer to assist in resolving any issues that may be a result of a third-party failure.
In order to avoid any disappointment, please place your order early to provide us with the best opportunity to deliver your gift by your preferred delivery date.
You may choose a preferred delivery date in the delivery calendar at the checkout.
Please note that we can not guarantee delivery on a specific day, but we will make sure to send your gift in plenty of time to arrive on or before the date requested.
Due to the nature of our products, International delivery is not available.
Delivery times can not be selected and can vary on the courier’s delivery schedule.
We do not deliver on Saturdays, Sundays or Public Holidays.
For Residential addresses, if a courier deems a delivery location unsafe, the order will be returned to the dispatch address and redelivery fees will apply.
For business, school, and hospital addresses, Coco & Bean accepts no responsibility for delivered items that are redirected to the mailroom, front desk or reception.
Coco & Bean recommends you use a business address if there is a chance the recipient is unlikely to be home.
INCORRECT ADDRESS
Should the delivery address supplied by the customer be incorrect, insufficient, or missing address details provided, Coco & Bean cannot accept any responsibility for any loss experienced.
It is the obligation of the customer to supply accurate details at the time of order.
When supplied with an incorrect address, the box will be re-directed to Coco & Bean and disposed of as perishable products and Coco & Bean’s commitment that all products be delivered at the highest quality.
In the case of a wrong or non-complete delivery address, it is the customer’s responsibility to decide whether they would like to purchase another box and have it delivered to the correct address on a different day.
In the case of a wrong or non-complete delivery address, the customer will lose the monies spent on both the gift box, add-ons, and delivery.
CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS
Please make sure all order details are correct at the time of ordering. We are unable to vary any orders within 48 hours of their delivery.
Due to high demand, some sweet products may need to be substituted for a product of equal or greater value to meet delivery times.
Coco & Bean is unable to cancel orders that are already prepared and/or are with a courier for delivery.
REFUNDS AND RETURNS
Any dissatisfaction with the product(s) must be communicated to Customer Service within three (3) days of delivery. Call 0417 069 645 or email hello@cocoandbean.com.au
Coco & Bean reserves the right to request photos of the original product(s). To assist us in quality control it is our policy, if requested by us, to collect the original products.
To arrange a return, seek a refund, replacement, or exchange, you must email us at hello@cocoandbean.com.au to obtain prior approval. Please include the order number and reason for the return.
Coco & Bean does not refund for change of mind.
PURCHASE AND SALE OF ALCOHOL
Purchaser Representation: By ticking the ‘I agree’ button during the checkout process, the purchaser represents that they and the recipient, are over 18 years old.
The purchaser accepts that it is an offence to falsely represent they are of legal age to purchase alcohol and to obtain alcohol on behalf of a person who is under 18 years.
PRODUCT VARIATIONS AND SUBSTITUTIONS
We proudly hand-make all our sweet products and source our complimentary hamper products from small-batch Australian businesses.
Due to the handmade nature of our products, there may be small variations in the appearance of products compared to the product images on the Coco & Bean website.
In the instance that a product is unavailable, Coco & Bean reserves the right to replace it with a product of the same or greater quality and value in your chosen hamper.
PRODUCTS STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE
Shelf Life – Coco & Bean products have a shelf life that vary between of 7 days to 6 months and is specific to each product, please refer to the product page for details.
Please check the best before-date label located on the products before consuming.
Storage – upon delivery put and keep your products and hampers in the refrigerator.
We suggest eating immediately for the freshest flavour.
Allergy and Dietary Advice
Our products may contain traces of nuts and respectfully suggest refraining from ordering our products if you or the recipient of your gift suffers from any nut allergies.
Our products including gluten-free is not suitable for those who are highly sensitive to gluten intolerance, vegan,s or vegetarians.
Please note we do offer gluten-free products however, our commercial bakery is not an exclusive gluten-free kitchen.
